HELLO EVERYONE. Laura and Luis are hoping you are healthy and doing well during these trying times. We wanted to give you a quick synopsis of what is happening on LBI and the surrounding area. There are reported cases of COVID-19 in this area but no where near the alarming rates that we are seeing in other parts of our country. Our grocery stores were initially innundated and as time passes, the lines get more normal. We went food shopping today without any problems or difficulties. The shelves are steadily stocked but you definately see less of canned goods and toilet paper [who knew we should have invested in toiler paper stock ;)]. From a real estate market perspective, there continues to be selling and buying going on. All the real estate offices are physically closed and we are all working from home. WE REMAIN OPEN FOR BUSINESS. The best compliment we can receive from you would be a direct referral to you your friends, family and neighbors. We updated our virtual tours for our listings in anticipation of increased online volume and you can check them out on our website or on our You-Tube Cannel “Discover LBI from the L&L Team” (a work in progress), as well as the Zack Shore Realtors You-Tube Channel. The NJ Board of Realtors has published guidance as well regarding best practices and a Corona Virus Addendum to be added to contracts. What is really cool is that we are witnessing closings conducted “by curb-side” at the parking lot of Surety Title, which is one of our preferred vendors. Above all, we remain hopeful that this major event/crisis will soon pass too. We wish everyone great health, now and always. We hope to hear back from you with your thoughts and we maintain a positive outlook for our country and for the world.
