Hi everyone.  Wishing you health and happiness.  We are passing on joyful information from the LBI Chamber of Commerce about which beaches are open on LBI.  ALL THE BEACHES ARE OPEN!!  Make sure you get your badges and be ready to show them at the beach.  Regarding short term rentals, effective  dates vary among the various communities on LBI and here is the breakdown:

Barnegat Light has no current ban on short term rentals.

Beach Haven has a short term rental ban until June 1, 2020

Harvey Cedars ended the short term rental on May 1, 2020

Long Beach Township has a short term rental ban until June 1, 2020.

Ship Bottom has a short term rental ban until May 15, 2020.

Surf City does not have a ban on short term rentals.

By the way, short term rentals do not apply to non-residential properties which means hotels and motels are open.  There are many restaurants in the surrounding area who have service for carry-out and we applaud their success.  Some have been so successful that occasionally they post that they run out of food.  Excellent news.  Remember we are not out of the woods yet so we encourage all to use proper precautions and guidelines to counter the COVID-19 virus.  Toast to future “Happy Hours”.

We are open for business whether you are considering buying or selling.  We are a full service real estate team dedicated to meeting your real estate needs.  So until next time soak in the fun and sun.
